Odyssey

Everyone must take a great journey through life. This is a little bit of my own, my odyssey.

Okay, I'm back! *chirp chirp, chirp chirp*

Well well well... I guess I'm back... kinda... I stopped posting because of tons of work from classes, and uh... tons of work from classes I guess. I actually tried to start posting last month or something, but I forgot my password, and for some reason I couldn't retrieve it, if I recall correctly. Okay, well, tons of stuff has happened since my last post in uh... August?

Okay, first off, I quit any games and stuff (mostly TCGs) a LOOOOOONNNNGGGG time ago. Even video games I've quit playing, well, mostly. I started Kingdom Hearts again on expert mode, and didn't like that, then I accidentally erased my nearly (only had to beat Sephiroth) completed easy file... So I made a new easy file. However, in my supreme niceness, I let my brother and sister (both younger) play on my PS2, and they're not satisfied unless every turn is PRECICELY one hour long, any more, and they start yelling. So, for a game I could have beat over this Thanksgiving break, I uh... wasn't able to...

Now, as for school... school... where to begin? Okay, first-eighth periods. Geometry is well... a drag when I have a test, and not that much of a hassle every day. My teacher sometimes is just like, "yeah, I was busy last night, so I couldn't make your test... test tomorrow I guess" Okay, that only happened once. I switched to Biology, took it before though. I tried to get into Honors Earth Science (something easy for once) but they said, "uh, no, you're in honors geometry so... you're in honors biology." Unfortunately, I got stuck with the biggest bitch in the school for a teacher in biology... And she says, for us to learn, we have to take our notes in graphic organizers (bubble graphs, flowcharts, etc) and they have to be in COLOR. I haven't colored since... wow... ever, too big of a hassle, hunting down markers, colored pencils, etc. So yeah, I make my notes, and in the notebook checks, she LITERALLY says, "no color, zero" So I end up getting a C on my notes, even though they're 10 times better than anybody elses. Gym/health is easy. Debate... was easy, but now we're doing stuff. My topic: does U.S. have a moral obligation to promote democratic ideals in other countries? Uh... no. That's what I'm arguing. Japanese... she slowed down because of stupid people, but some friends and I told her she could pick up the pace, and she started going how fast she planned to... very fast. But hey, it's good, we're actually learning something. And the 5 people who don't want to study... are failing even worse. English is a drag, so is Civics, and that's all to say about them.

And now, I've been searching for a martial arts dojo in Raleigh, NC (for those who know a good location). I don't want a place that has those damn contracts (everybody around here seems to have them, you know, pay $200 for a year of lessons or something...). I started taking karate at some place... that sucked... then I wanted to take kung fu, but the place is pretty far away and goes from 7-9 and I dunno if I'll be able to do that, considering I gotta get up at 5:30. And I even ordered instructional DVDs to learn To Shin Do... I don't see that going very far... Anyway, at first I thought, "I don't want to go to one of those sport oriented places... I want to learn stuff that will work for real." Then I thought, that, "well... the way you practice for sport and the way you practice for real are very different. One can learn both, can one not?" Besides, I wouldn't mind becoming WORLD MARTIAL ARTS CHAMPION! Heh heh... yeah...

Well, thanks to Buddy for inspiring me to pick up my blog... hopefully I will continue to post and stuff... this had a bunch of stuff to tell, so I couldn't get specific. I hope I post tomorrow...
